Challenge

The profits of the annual "Millerntor Gallery" flow into the projects of Viva con Agua e.V., an organization striving to give access to clean water facilities to every person on earth. Together with Hamburg based photographer Henning Heide our plan was to capture "dynamic movements and fluids".

Solution

To raise awareness for the VCA projects in Africa we invited the Senegalese dance group "Diamoral". We used milk on set which was digitally coloured in post. The right balance between exposure and flash-power was essential to capture the motion of the fluid and dance movements. Check out the behind-the-scenes video below.
